Wuxi Jinmao Company conducted 2026 fire safety emergency drill
To implement the requirements of the 25th National "Work Safety Month" and further enhance employees' fire safety awareness, improve emergency response capabilities for fire incidents, and fulfill the primary responsibility of enterprise safety, Wuxi Jinmao Company conducted the 2026 Annual Fire Safety Emergency Drill at the Shijin Center on June 13. The drill integrated theoretical education with practical exercises, comprehensively strengthening the enterprise's fire safety "firewall".
Before the drill officially begins, a fire safety training session is conducted first. Given the characteristics of the textile and foreign trade industry, materials like fabrics, finished products, packaging cartons, and chemical auxiliaries are all flammable items, making fire safety efforts a matter of utmost importance that must be consistently prioritized. The company requires all employees to overcome complacency, thoroughly inspect potential hazards in their respective positions, and promptly address minor issues. It also calls for heightened attention to subsequent practical drills, ensuring mastery of emergency response skills, and encourages employees to internalize fire safety knowledge and apply it effectively. Following this, all participating trainees gather to watch a fire safety educational video. The film presents multiple typical fire accident cases, with a focus on office fire incidents, outlining common daily safety hazards. It highlights risks such as improper electrical appliance usage, blocked evacuation routes, malfunctioning firefighting equipment, and unauthorized hot work operations. The video provides detailed explanations of office fire safety standards, summarizing standard actions and precautions for safe evacuation in fire scenarios. The vivid case studies and comprehensive knowledge delivery enable employees to clearly recognize hidden fire risks in office areas, proactively correct poor daily work habits, and firmly establish the belief that "safety is no trivial matter, and responsibility outweighs everything."
After the theoretical training session, the emergency evacuation drill officially commenced. The safety officer simulated detecting smoke and promptly reported it to the fire control center while pressing the alarm button in the hallway, followed by calling the property monitoring room. As the simulated fire alarm sounded, all staff members, under the guidance of evacuation guides, covered their mouths and noses with wet towels, crouched in a low posture, and quickly evacuated along the preset evacuation routes in a tense yet orderly manner. The entire evacuation process was well-organized and swift. Once all personnel had safely evacuated to the first-floor plaza of the World Gold Center, the evacuation team promptly counted the number of people and reported back, confirming that everyone had been safely evacuated. The drill was successfully completed, effectively testing the feasibility of the company's fire emergency plan and enhancing employees' practical abilities in rapid response and standardized evacuation.
This fire safety emergency drill closely aligns with the theme of the Work Safety Month, based on the company's practical conditions. It was well-organized and highly practical, not only helping employees master fire evacuation skills but also comprehensively enhancing the company's overall capability to handle fire emergencies. Moving forward, Wuxi Jinmao Company will use this drill as an opportunity to further strengthen regular fire safety management, consistently conduct hazard identification and rectification, fire safety training, and emergency drills. This will solidify the foundation of safety management, firmly establish a safety development concept, guide all employees to integrate fire safety into every detail of their daily work, and safeguard the bottom line of work safety with rigorous prevention and solid measures, ensuring the sustained and healthy development of the enterprise.
